You've got an opening date. We'll help you hit it.

Commercial Build-Outs & Remodels for Business Owners

You signed the lease, you've got a soft-open date on the calendar, and now you need a contractor who can actually pull off the build-out without excuses.

CAB Carpentry works with business owners across East Texas on new location fit-outs, remodels, and expansions.

Commercial tenant build-out entry foyer with chandeliers and finished trim — East Texas business owner fit-out

We've worked in restaurants, offices, retail spaces, and service-business storefronts — from raw shell to move-in ready. We understand what it takes to phase a remodel so you stay open, and how to sequence a fit-out so you hit your opening date without cutting quality.

One contractor handles framing, trim, doors, hardware, and finish carpentry — no juggling three subs who each point fingers at the other two.

Sound familiar?

  • Your lease starts ticking the day you sign — every week of delay is real money.
  • Past contractors gave you a "ballpark" that became a blank check.
  • You need someone who can work around your hours without tearing up the space.
  • Change orders have eaten your budget on prior projects.
  • You don't have time to chase a GC for updates every day.

A firm scope, a real number, and a phased schedule — aligned to your opening date.

  3. 03

    Build without drama

Questions business owners usually ask

Can you work from tenant improvement (TI) drawings?

Yes. We work from architectural and design drawings regularly. If you don't have drawings yet, we can help scope the work from your vision and generate a plan you can approve.

How long does a typical tenant build-out take?

A standard office or retail build-out runs 3–8 weeks depending on scope and finish level. Raw shell spaces with significant framing run longer. We give you a firm timeline at the estimate so you can plan your opening.

Can you remodel while my business stays open?

Usually yes. We phase work to minimize disruption — after-hours, weekends, and section-by-section. We'll discuss your operational needs before scheduling anything.

Do you coordinate with the landlord or property manager?

Yes. We're used to operating in occupied or managed commercial buildings and coordinate access, sequencing, and communication with whoever needs to be in the loop.

Do you install ADA-compliant doors and restroom accessories?

Yes. ADA-compliant door hardware, restroom partitions, grab bars, and accessory clearances are standard parts of our commercial work. We ensure assemblies meet code.

How do I get a commercial build-out quote?

Call or use the estimator on our site. We'll schedule a site walk, review your drawings, and give you a written estimate — no ballpark guesses, no surprise change orders.

Ready to talk about your project?

Call or text — we'll walk your project, give you a written estimate, and if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you straight.
