Fire-rated, ADA-compliant commercial door installs across East Texas

CAB Carpentry installs commercial doors, frames, and hardware packages for offices, retail, medical, and industrial buildings throughout East Texas.

Scope covers hollow metal and solid-core wood doors, frame replacement, panic bars and exit devices, door closers

ADA-compliant lever hardware, keyed locksets

and fire-rated assemblies.

We'll source materials or install owner-supplied product, and we diagnose sticking or dragging doors before recommending replacement

often a hinge adjustment or planing fixes it for a fraction of the cost.

What affects the price

Every estimate is walk-through based. These are the factors that move the number up or down:

  • Door type — hollow core, solid core, fire-rated, exterior
  • Frame condition — reuse existing or full frame replacement
  • Hardware package — lockset, closer, panic bar, hinges
  • Number of openings in the project
  • ADA compliance requirements

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply the doors or just install them?

Both options work. We can source doors and hardware from our suppliers, or install what you've already purchased. Material-only jobs are fine.

What's the difference between a hollow core and solid core commercial door?

Hollow core is lighter and better for interior offices. Solid core provides better sound control and security — recommended for private offices, server rooms, and main entries.

Do you install panic bars and door closers?

Yes. Panic bar (exit device) and door closer installation is part of our hardware scope. We ensure compliance with code requirements.

Our doors are sticking or dragging — can you adjust them without replacement?

Often yes. Hinge adjustment, door planing, or frame shimming can fix most sticking doors without full replacement. We diagnose before recommending a swap.
